Candidates on Net Neutrality

I was both surprised and delighted to discover that most of the candidates voted for Net Neutrality. If you side with democrats you have only one guy to worry about – Joe Biden, who (wrongfully) thinks that net neutrality is not a problem yet.

However, if you favor the republicans, you may want to take a look at the following list.

Here are the candidates who think that “content providers who pay more should have priority over other Internet traffic.” This means that if you can’t afford to pay for people to be able to access your site in a reasonable amount of time (that’s if they can access it at all!!) you are out of luck if any of these guys gets elected:

Rudy Giuliani John McCain Duncan Hunter Ron Paul

You don’t have to take my word for it, you check out the candidates and get more info about them for your self.

Tell Your Story

If you like the internet and/or if are a fan of any of the above guys – all is not lost! You can still try to save the net by writing to FCC! Lost cause? Not in the least! “The [FCC] has launched a public inquiry into whether it should protect Net Neutrality or let companies like AT&T, Verizon and Comcast dictate which Web sites you can use.” Today is the last day, so don’t put it off, it will only take a few minutes.

The long, dull, monotonous ages of middle-aged successfulness or middle-aged hardship are greatest campaigning windward for the devil.
